NY pop singer/songwriter/pianist Todd Alsup will take you on an acoustic journey through the soulful songbook of the Rocket Man, highlighting what makes his enduring hit songs so unusual and special. It is an innovative and very personal show that has left audiences astounded and deeply moved.
Elton Undressed was developed at TheaterWorks Hartford and premiered there with a sold out run in April 2022. It just wrapped a sold out 12 week run at Provincetown’s Crown and Anchor after a pre-summer engagement at Merrimack Repertory Theater.

PRODUCTION NEEDS
ELTON UNDRESSED has only a few production requirements, making it an inexpensive show to mount. The show works best in an intimate cabaret or theater space with capacity up to 300. Stage setup requires only a piano, one vocal mic and a mirror ball. The show uses a small number of backing tracks and sound cues.
TECH REHEARSAL
ELTON UNDRESSED works best with subtle, beautiful lighting tied to each separate number. When possible, A minimum of 2 hours tech rehearsal is required to set these cues.
